Got together the Apostles

And invoked them all

Ed un catino in mano

I piedi loro lavņ

E poi li asciugņ

With a towel on his arm

And a basin on hand

He washed they feet

And then dried them

M' u ngre e predhikoj

m' i puthi e m' i shtringoj

m' i vu e m' i kungoj

tha: "Gjith ju kinmja bes

(e) se ti Pjetir ka t' igarish

e njetir ka t' im shes"

Si alzņ e predicņ

Li strinse e li baciņ

Poi li comunicņ.

" Credetemi voi tutti,

Pietro mi rinnegherai

un altro mi venderą".

He got up and prayed

Hugged, kissed

Them and said:

Believe me you all

Peter will deny me

And another will betray me.

Kur ishė ndė njė mbrėma

Krishti vata tek joma

tha: "Mom ti ki paēenx

e uratin om si bir

In quella sera stessa

Dalla madre si recņ:

Fatti coraggio o Mamma!

A tuo figlio dą benedizione

Ed anche il consenso,

mi avvio alla Passione.

In the same night

At his mother He stopped by.

Be brave oh! mother,

Bless and approve of your son

I am going to the Passion.

Krishti dirsijti gjak

Nel rivolgere le preghiere

Che fosse allontanata la tentazione

E per essa sudņ sangue.

In addressing His prayers

He asked at first

keep away the temptations

Christ sweated blood

E mbiatu ra pėrmis

ndė gjakut u mbrushunar

e neva na librar

Il permesso arrivņ

S'immerse nel suo sangue

I malvagi scesero all'inferno

Noi tutti liberņ

The permit has arrived

He submerged into his own blood

The malicious down to hell.

All of us he freed.

M' i ngrojti ata si

e mė thėrriti: "Oj Tat

t' a qellinj kit kulat"

Gli occhi sollevņ

Gridando forte: " O Padre!

Di me abbi pietą

Ch'io porti questo peso".

He raised his eyes

screaming aloud: Oh Father

please have mercy of me

I'll keep this burden

I Jati ja dirgoj

Il Padre a lui inviņ

Un angelo dal cielo,

La Passione gli mostrņ.

Il Cristo l'abbracciņ

The Father send him

an Angel from the sky

The Passion was shown.

Christ hugged him.

Kristi si gjegj rrėmur

ngė mėnd zėnaj rrėēet

Sentģ Cristo un rumore

E non prendeva requie

Viene Giuda il traditore

Con tutte le altre guardie.

Christ heard a sound

and couldn't repose

Judas the betrayer has arrived

with so many other guards

M' u ngre me gjith pen

m' i tha Judhivat: "Ēė duni?

Ndė duni Naxarenin

ju zėnija se njo"

Afflitto egli si alzņ

Dicendo poi ai Giudei: "Chi Cercate?

Volete il Nazareno?

"Eccomi prendetemi",

Depressed he got up

asking the Jews: whom are you searching for?

You want the Nazarene?

here I am, take me

M' a puthi ai Judh

Judhit pir leshi a zun

ndė mest asaj udh

m' a lidhtin e m' a shllun

Giuda lo baciņ

per i capelli lo trascinarono

In mezzo alla strada

Legandolo la gettarono

Judas kissed him,

By the hair He was dragged

in the middle of the street

They drew him tied up

Krishti si qėngj mė rri

e pjot me umultat

kush mo tė mond i bij

Kristit pa pjetat

Come un agnello stette

Ricco di comprensione

Tanti lo percuotevano

Senza compassione.

Like a lamb he remained

rich of comprehension

many persecuted him

with no compassion

A zun e m' a xarristin

tirkuzt mo ja shtringun

pirpara tek Rre Ana

me Krishtit arrivun

Cosģ lo trascinarono

Stringendo assai le corde

Davanti al falso Ana

Con Cristo arrivarono

They kept dragging him

with a very tighten rope

in front the false Annas

with Christ they arrived

Rre Ana zu e pinaj:

"Ēė lexhė predhikoj?"

Tė rremat mo ja rrėfinaj

tha: "Ki nani mallkoj"

Il falso Ana chiese:

"Che leggi ha predicato?"

falsitą gli raccontavano

"Costui ci ha bestemmiato!"

The false Annas asked:

What laws did he preach?

false one they told him

This man cursed us.

Krishtit ju hap gola

m' i tha. "Kjo osht virtet"

pirpara gjith ja foltin

m' ja kalltin njė shkafet

Gridando forte Cristo:

"Questa č la veritą!"

tutti lo contrastarono

uno schiaffo poi gli diedero

Screaming aloud Christ

this is the plain true

all of them opposed him

and slapped him around

E se sa pen mė shkoj

ndė faqat Zoti Krisht

nxinjalli m' i qindroj

dora me gjith gjisht

Quante pene sopportņ

Sul volto il Signore

Un segno riportņ

La mano con le dita

Many punishment he suffered

Our God in the face

a scar got bruised

The hand with all fingers

Ai Mallku qe ē' i ra

e faqėzin ja pjasi

m' a nistin pa e pa

m' a qelltin tek Kajfasi.

Malco lo schiaffeggiņ

Il suo volto sfigurņ

Di nuovo lo trascinarono

Da Caifa lo presentarono.

Malco slapped him

His face became disfigured

They dragged him again

To Caiaphas they took him.

Kajfasi rrispėndoj

tha: "Kuj biri je?

Je i biri t' In Zoti?"

E Krishti i tha: "Ti a the"

Caifa lo interrogņ:

Di chi tu figlio sei?

"Sei Figlio dell'Altissimo?"

"L'hai detto" Egli rispose.

Caiaphas questioned him:

who's son are you?

the son of the Highest?

you said it, he replied.

Judhit mė thėrrisin forrt

Kajfasi rrispėndoj:

"Dumi t' i jami mort

se ki nani mallkoj"

Gridando forte i giudei

Caifa li accontentņ:

" Vogliamo dargli morte,

costui ci ha bestemmiato"

Yelling hard the Jewish people

Caiaphas satisfied them.

We want him crucified

This men cursed us.

Si qen pa pjetat

m' a zun e m' a xarristin

tė tėr(e) atė nat

e mosnjeri a lipisi

Come cani senza pietą

Cosģ lo trascinarono

Per una notte intera

Nessun lo compatģ

Like a dog with no mercy

they started to dragged him

All night long

no one had mercy

Tė vdisė ishė gati

e mė pen(e) m' i dhan

m' a ngjitėtin tek Pillati

t' ja bonaj at kundan

Era ormai allo stremo

Ed altre pene gli diedero

Da Pilato lo salirono

Per l'ultima sentenza

He was by now at the limit

Other punishments he received.

To Pilate he was taken

for the final sentence

Pillati u vu e pinaj

tha: "ki ėshtė nuxend

kat Rrodhi a dirgonj

se ashtu a bėnj kutjend

Pilato indagņ

Poi disse: "E' innocente

Da Erode portatelo,

cosģ sarą contento".

Pilate investigated

then he said :He is not guilty

take him to Herode,

so he can be happy

Ai Rrodhi pa trł

m' ja qepu njė tė veshur

tė bardh(e) ngrah ja vu

m' a zu ture pirqeshur

Erode l'insensato

Una veste gli cucģ

Di bianco lo vestģ

Ridendo il dissennato

Herode the foolish

all in white they had him wrapped

laughphing the furious

Pir paē(ė) m'a tratun

e mė ja bėn pir shkat

j' u prur e ja dirgoj

t' i jap re ai Pillat

Come un pazzo lo trattarono

Con offese lo coprirono

Voltandosi lo rinviņ

Perché Pilato gli riparlasse

They treat him like a Crazy

they offended him all around

Back to Pilate he was returned

So he could be reconsidered

by Pilate for crucifixion

"Ndė duni tė sfugarni!

se ashtuni ju thom u

ecni a sfraxhillarni

e pra sillnia kėtu"

"Se volete voi sfogarvi

Ed anch'io cosģ vi dico

Andate, flagellatelo

E poi qui portatelo"

If you wish to be satisfied

me too will say to you

go ahead crucify him,

and than bring him back to me

Judhit mė pėnxun
